John H. Wentworth moved in 1842 to Harrison Township in Vernon Co. but think it was Bates Co. at that time period, that is south of Neveda and he lived close to the KS state line. Mary (Polly) S. (Spencer) Wentworth, his wife died in March1845, John H. Wentworth on 08/03/1848 purchased property in Vernon Co., MO. some time after that he sold his land and moved back to Knox Co., IL. He did moved back to MO but settled in Cedar Co., and was in the 1850 census there. Horace Wentworth lived in Veronon Co. also believe that to be son, but he also returned to IL. Susan Wentworth his daughter married a Eli Collins, and they lived in Kansas. Sarah B. Wentworth married Samuel Reed Sr. and lived in Metz and Rich Hill, MO area, these are my GGGrandparents. John & Polly Wentworth had 9 childern, don't know if any other stayed around there, have a lot more on this family.
