Regarding look-ups in the Nevada library, one newspaper that covered old Vernon happenings was the El Dorado Sun. Any information found in an early newspaper about the marriage on 18 Nov., 1877 of John L. Workman & Nancy Elizabeth Price ("Lizzie Price") would be welcome & wonderful. Or about the birth of their son, Rob't Lee Workman on 6 Apr., 1880. My maiden name was Antoinette Workman & John L. is my great grandfather, about whom I know very little.
