James, My Vernon County map shows that it is Montevallo Twnshp, located in the SE corner of the county. I got this great map that shows all the townships, streets, etc for all of Vernon County by calling the Nevada/Vernon County Chamber of Commerce, 110 South Adams, Nevada, MO 64772 (417)667-5300. They sent me one at no cost, plus a great folder of information. Molly
