I replied privately to David Strain about Nevada obits. Then I saw another request but deleted it too soon. So I'm sending a copy of the note I wrote to David for anyone else who is interested: David -- Nevada is my hometown, but I've been gone from there a long time. There is a genealogy society there -- I don't know the address. The library has some obits in a file that I think was made by this society. I don't know what years it covers, but I found interesting things there. You could probably find the Library address on-line and write to the society in their care. Also check with Pat Brophy at the Bushwhacker Museum run by the Vernon County Historical Society. Good luck, Sarah HARRIMAN White, related to Harrimans and Inwoods who lived in Nevada.
They have the early newspapers at the Library in Nevada. The Historical Society/Bushwacker Museum does research for fee. There's a link to their site on my Missouri page. There is also a lot of Vernon Co. information on my Vernon Co. page. Jim . James R.
