Three MIZER brothers, William P., James and George murdered with their brother-in-law, John EDWARDS in Jan. 1867 near the Missouri-Arkansas border. Residents of Benton Co., AR since appx. 1850 but lived during the war in Newton, Mc Donald and Lawrence Cos., MO. John Edwards widow, Elizabeth Caroline MIZER EDWARDS remarried James William JAMESON in Lawrence Co., MO in 1870. All men members of the union army during the war. A person by the name of Mc Kissick may have been a witness. Need help in finding out where exactly this happened, why it happened and where the men are buried. rnmhalsey@home.com
