Quick tip: RAOGK (Random Acts of Genealogical Kindness) is a great place to go if you need someone to look up information for you. It used to be listed on rootsweb's main page, but it is no longer there (I wonder why :o\). I am including the link below. There is a volunteer for Vernon county and in the past she has helped me locate obituaries for many of my distant kin. She has offered to look up census, marriage, cemetery and obituary information at the library.
