This may be a connection to your Hogan families. I did find 2 Hoag families in Vernon Co., MO in 1903. [1] Henry & R.N Hogan They lived in Deerfield township 35 North. Range 32 West. section 19 & 20. This is real close to Coal township line. [2] P. Hogan He lived in Center township 35 North. Range 31 West section 6 This is real close to the town of Nevada, also close to Deerfield & Washington townships line.
