    1. [MOVERNON] Daniel Caughlin/Coughlin's disappearance...
    2. Hello, I had a grandfather who was born in Moundville, Vernon Co in 1897...Alfred LeRoy (aka "Roy") Caughlin. His parents were Daniel Caughlin/Coughlin and Lena Ernwine/Ernwein. They moved to Erie Co, PA by 1900; however family says that Daniel continued to travel back to Moundville over the years. He worked on railroads as a section-hand. Daniel disappeared between 1930 and 1950. I've checked for cemetery records and for an obituary; to no avail. I still need to review the 1930 c.r. for Vernon Co since Lena said she was still married, but Daniel wasn't listed with her in PA. Are there any directories for Vernon County or Moundville? Any railroad employee or pension records or some creative search I could do to see if Daniel really was living there? I'd like to find out where, when, and how he died. Appreciate any advice!! Please email me directly at StaceyRego@aol.com. Thank you!! Sincerely, Stacey
