    3. I am looking for information on the following ancestors: Anna C. Burnett, d/o George W. Burnett m. Emma Jennings, b. March 21, 1875, in Schell City, Vernon County, & d. in 1949, in SF, CA. Anna m. James "Joe" Joseph Cornelius Kelly, s/o Patrick Kelly m. Marie/Mary Murphy, b. in 1868, d. in SF, CA, in 1942. Anna's first husband was Lewis Hobaker, who was from Morgan County, IL. They were married in 1894 but I do not know what happened to Lewis Hobaker. Anna and Joe Kelly had one child together, James "Jim" Joseph Cornelius Kelly, b. in St. Louis, MO, on Aug. 4, 1904, & d. in Tucson, AZ, in 1958. George W. and Emma Burnett, eventually moved back to Morgan County, IL, where George's family were pioneers of that county. They had two other children besides Anna, my grandmother: Charles Isham Burnett, b. 1874, KS, and d. in Decatur, IL, in 1941, and Otis Willett "Willie" Burnett, b. c. 1879. Emma died c. 1879, shortly after giving birth to their last child. George died in St. Louis, MO, in 1913, at the home of Anna and Joe Kelly. Both are buried in Franklin Cemetery, Morgan County, IL. Charles I.Burnett is also buried in Franklin Cemetery. Cordelia "Delia Craighead/Craghead (maiden name Jennings), Anna's aunt & sister of Emma Jennings, lived with her husband, Robert Craighead/Craghead, in Harwood, Vernon County, for a few years. They had at least one child in Vernon County, Florence Craighead/Craghead, who was born in 1880. Later, the Craighead/Craghead's moved to Callaway County,MO, where Robert's family were pioneers of that county. Delia and Robert had four children together, one child dying in childhood. The father of Emma and Cordelia Jennings may have been Reuben Jennings. I know nothing else about the Jennings family. Anna C. Burnett was related to the Parker family of KS. Her cousins were named, Etta, Lila, and Eunice Parker. I have some information on the Parker family, particularly Eunice Parker, who m. Paul Mannen. I have pictures to share, some unidentified. Thanks, Patricia Jordan pcjordan@foggy.net

    1. CLINTON/CUMMINS of Vernon Co.
    2. Fred J Warner
    3. Can share info on the above families with those interested. These families came down from Pulaski and Camden co unties after making their way to Missouri from the Carolinas, Kentucky, and Tn. Most of my info concerns the two main Clinton households; that of Bennett J. (B.J.), and his brother William Alford James(W.A.J.) . The Cummins family also came to Missouri with the Clintons; there had been marriages between the families going back to their roots in the Carolinas and Kentucky. I'm especially interested in finding B.J. and Alford's father, David Clinton, born c. 1780 in S.C. Really hitting a brick wall on his parents. Any help or hints gladly accepted, and please get in touch if I can help anyone out there. . Fred ________________________________________________________________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO!
