    1. Ridgway Family
    2. Does anyone know how I can get the records from Miller Cemetery? I am researching my Ridgway family who is buried there. James R. Ridgway and his wife Elizabeth R. Oldridge. James was born in Indiana in 1829. I was hoping that the cemetery records might name their parents and verify the spelling of Elizabeth's maiden name. Do you think that any funeral home in the area might know who to contact? Thanks Jenell Rector Cremeans

    1. RE:Pryors
    2. Here is a little bit of information on your William Pryor. On a 1903 map of Vernon Co., it shows he lived in Henry township 37 & 38 North - Range 33 West. From this map looks like he lived close to the Osage River and also close to Metz township line. That would put him between the towns of Stotesbury and Metz. In this plat book it also list other Pryor's: [1]W. C. It says W.C. Pryor is Proprietor Bottling works in City of Nevada. [2]J. A. I has shows J. A. lives in Clear Creek township 36 North. Rand 29 West. section 28 [3]E. W. It has E. W.. living in Metz township 37 & 38 North. Range 32 West. section 17 [4] Chas. It has Chas. living in Metz township 37 & 38 North. Range 32 West. section 16 (looks like the lands right next to each other) and fairly close to the town of Metz. There is a Pryor Creek not to far from there property, I'm sure named after them, like Reeds Creek is named are my Reed families. Hope this helps in some way.
