I just want to thank everyone that has sent me new leads on my Gray/Snider families.... I now have much work to figure out why Elizableth Snider went to Vernon, Mo. Several of her sisters including her self married Snider brothers.... So that will be a puzzle I will have to sort out! But again THANK YOU for all your help! Does anyone know if there are any city directories for Vernon County from about 1880-1920? Also, do you know what plat maps are available and where I can get information from them? My ancestor is in the 1880 census in Center Twp, and is on the 1907 Tax list for Center Twp. but I can't find him listed in the 1900 census. Maybe he owned property in Center but lived in another twp. (Marshall E. Davidson).
