This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Hart, Richards, Cantrell, Cox Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/kNB.2ACI/1567 Message Board Post: I am looking for any information anyone may have on the children born to Lovic(k)Lambert Hart and Julina V. Cox. They were married in Texas County or Maries County Missouri. Lovic was married to a Moreland prior to marrying Julina. I have found where he married Julina and they raised his 4 children and six of their own. Does anyone know who their six children were? My ggandmother was a child of Julina's when she married Lovic and I don't find any reference to her being a step child. She would have only been about 1 1/2 to 2 years old when they married. She always went by either Cordelia Hart or Della Hart but we have found that her natural father's name was Cantrell (possibly Jim and possibly b: in Arkansas. Also possibly a native American). I know that one child went by R.V. and one was named George....but I can't find anything on any of them. Cordelia married William Smith Richards in Texas County Missouri. ANY help would be most appreciated!
Roanay (different spellings are found) Hart, d/o of Lovic Hart married into my Fielden family. Here is the obit for Lovic which is in the Houston Herald newspaper. Dec 15, 1904 Again the Reaper who comes but once for each individual has made men shudder at his mighty power and claimed for the tomb Lovic Hart, aged 84 years and 7 months. Grandpa was taken sick on Nov. 12 with neuralgia of the heart and lived but one week, dying on the 19th. Death was very sudden, as he was sitting in his chair reading a paper, when suddenly he folded away his glasses and told his wife to call the boy who was chopping wood for him. Before she could get back from the porch or call their daughter he had passed into the Great Beyond. It seems a vendetta not of human vengeance shadows this family, as Mrs. Roaney Hart-Fielden, a daughter, preceeded him only two short months ago, and Mrs. Salona Hart-Haven, another eleven months ago. However this may be, we bow to Him who doeth all things for their good who love the Lord. For some time Grandpa had expressed his readiness and wish to go. An aged wife and 5 of the 11 children, a number of grand and great grand-children are left to mourn the loss of a kindly counselor. On Nov. 21 the sorrowing relatives and friends followed the remains to Liberty cemetery where interment took place. For all the blessings life has brought, For all its sorrowing hours have taught, For all we mourn, for all we keep, The hands we clasp, the loved that sleep, The noontide sunshine of the past, Those brief, bright moments fading fast, The stars that gild our darkening years, The twilight ray from holier spheres, We thank thee, Father! Let they grace Our narrowing circle still embrace, Thy mercy shed its heavenly store, Thy peace be with us evermore.
