    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/kNB.2ACI/1567.1 Message Board Post: Brenda--I found Lovic L. Hart listed in the Texas County Heritage book, Vol. I, p. 464. According to that article, here is some information I think you are looking for. Lovic was the youngest of 8 sons of Adam, b. ca. 1789 in NC, and Barbara (Lineberry) Hart. Adam & Barbara m. in Orange Co. NC 1811. Moved with 7 sons to TN in late 1820's, where Lovic was born ca. 1829. During 1840's, most moved to Crawford Co. MO. Two moved on to Perry Co., other 6 settled in Maries Co, where Adam joined them folling Barbara's death in Knox Co., TN. Adam was a cooper, is buried in Rock Springs Cemetery, Maries County, MO. Lovic married Hannah Moreland (1837-1862) daughter of Thomas Moreland. She also was buried in Rock Springs Cemetery. Their children were: infant son b. 28 Dec. 1853, d. 18 Jan 1854; Wilbert Jasper (1855-1898, married Susan Rice; James Emery (1857-1918) married Ida Bridges; Roenna Clementine (1859-1904) married Richard Fielden; and Richard Washington (1861-?) married Martha Myers. Lovic and 2 of his brothers, Joseph & Anderson, enlisted in the Union Army for 3 years. Later, he moved by wagon train to Texas Co, bought 360 acres of land in Upton Township, which the family still owns. Lovic's son Emery and Idaho Bridges were married 1885, and bought several hundred adjoining acres. They had 9 children: Lottie (1886-1961) married Asbery Wolfe; Bertha (1889-1913) married Charles Denney; Edna (Sept. 1891-Mar. 1892; Walter E. (1894-1977) married first Effie Dutton; Dora (1896-1918) married Berry Crow; William Curtis (b. 1900) married Grace Quick; Kirby E. (1903-1983) married Georgia Douglas; Ruby (1907-1985) married first Otto Gladden, second June Scot; Leona (b. 1913) married first Ira Roberts, second Harold McLaughlin. In Texas County, Lovic married second time to Julina V.__ (1838-1916). Their children were: Orrilda; Julina E; Dora; Rosa; Lovic R.V. and Solona. Both Lovic and Julina are buried in Liberty Cemetery. Kirby and Georgia were good friends with my parents, and as long as they were able, Kirby and my father hunted on the Hart Ranch. (It is off limits to the general public.) I hope this helps. If you want, I could refer you to descendants who still live in the area.
