Hello List, Does anyone have access to a book written by Burton Ray Knotts called "Historical and Geneological Abstracts from Randolph Co. Ark. Newspapers"? I am looking for a copy of a news item on the murder of Charley Buster (p.10) in 1886. I also think there is another ancestor on p.16 whose name is Dial but may be my ancestor Dail. Have you contacted your local library to see if the newspapers of that time are available on interlibrary loan? My librarian (who is also a genealogist) is great about finding out what newspapers were published in a given area at a given time and getting microfilm for in-library use. Best of all, it's free.
