JoAnn - I checked two Texas Co, Marriage books, for the period 1850 through 1888, but did not find Charity McBride married to a Brown. I also checked the Howell County Marriages, 1866-1903, as sometimes people went into another county as a JP might live closer that direction, than their own county seat. Still no Charity McBride. Have you tried Missouri Births for 1883-1893?
