Surnames: Allen, Jones Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/kNB.2ACI/1947 Message Board Post: William and Hannah Allen were living in Texas County, MO in the 1860 census. Their son Archibald and family were living nearby. William and Hannah had Caswell Allen's children living with them in this census. (Caswell was William's brother.) Apparently, William died during the Civil War. Hannah and the Archibald Allen family appeared in the 1870 Searcy County, AR census. Does anyone have any information about William's death? Archibald was a CSA soldier. Thanks--A. Myers
