Since I last posted my query regarding the deaths of William Martin and his wife Julia, I received information indicating that William was killed by bushwackers. Going by the information I was given, this would have taken place between 1865 and 1870. Is there any information anywhere on bushwhacker activity in Texas or surrounding counties? I have also learned that William's father and step-mother are buried in Bethel Chapel Cemetery in unmarked graves. Can anyone tell me approximately where this cemetery is located?
