I am hitch-hiking on this request since it mentions the birth register. Are there any MORAN's listed? My husband's great-grandfather & ggrandmother lived in Texas Co in the late 1800's. Genealogical Socity newsletter today and there was a note in there that the Birth Register not only has the birth dates of the newborn but place of birth of the parents. I had not ordered the book because my grandmother was born ouside of the dates covered, and I had her siblings' birthdates from the family bible. HOWEVER, I have not been able to find out where my great-grandfather was born other than somewhere in MO (according to later censuses). He first appears at his wedding in Roubidoux (I have entertained the notion of a spaceship!) Does the Birth Register give locations within the states? If so, could someone check and see if there is an entry for: Fredric Windfield Kyler b.10 Aug 1887 or Ada Ethel Kyler b. 06 Dec 1889 I am interested in the birthplace of their father, William B.
