I think there is a first person connection there somewhere...a kid remembers G'ma Delawder or something. But, I can't swear to that. So, no. I can't confirm it either with proof. Never thought to question it either... Do you somewhere in this extensive record file have a 'King' connection? I'm sure my father "King" was connected to my G'mothers line somewhere. Sorry to hear you already knew about Joseph's history. The letter I 'answered' you were asking for info...but, I didn't notice the date it might have been years old too. I have almost nothing before John Lee and Florence Pugh. although I DO have florences maiden name was Ingersoll and her mothers was Sarah Moore. But, again...I have the names but no firm proof. Kitty PS oh, the most interesting thing and one of several that is a genealogists nightmare is that my grandmothers mom. Florence Pugh loved her own sister so much, she named her daughter identically. so, there were two females with identical names a generation apart but only vaguely related. Cora Izella (Bashor) and Cora Izella (Ingersoll).
