Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/kNB.2ACI/1969.1.1 Message Board Post: Thanks, Marta. Where is Mount Olive Cemetery? Is there a town by the name of Pierce? I know that Pierce is the township where they were. We may be up there next month and I was hoping I might be able to find some living Martins from this clan. How good are the courthouse records in Houston? Is there a good library there? I think Pierce Township may be in the southwest corner of Texas County. Would they have gone to towns closer than Houston to get married, etc.? I live in Fayetteville, Ark., so I am not a great distance away. Martha J. Sanders Martin is my great aunt. My great grandfather, Benjamin Van Buren Sanders (Saunders on the 1880 census) and family, moved to Choctaw Nation, Indian Territory, in 1890. Martha had married there in Missouri and stayed.
