I discovered in a Caldwell County History book (where they were married), that Lucy died in 1907 and was buried in Houston. State of Missouri County of Texas. In the matter of the application for pension of Elizabeth C. Walton a widow of Joseph A. Walton Co. "G" 32 nd Mo. Inf. On this 16th day of June A.D. 1892 personally appeared before me a Justice of the Peace in and for said County, duly authorizes to administer oaths, S.F. Taylor aged 63 years, a resident of Plato in the county of Texas and the State of Missouri and G.C. He came to Texas in 1921 and settled at Ranger. He moved to Midland in 1927.
