Unfortunately, it was extremely rundown. That was, I believe 6 years ago when I was there. I was still thrilled to have seen it and the land my ancestors lived on. What an experience that was. :) The owner was very gracious and a big help to me.

I would GREATLY APPRECIATE any obits that may have been published locally for her.Should that be the case please contact me privately and I will send my regular mailing address. I know she was married at least 3,possibly 4 times. Her first husband's name was John Gibson and her last husband's name was Zachariah Taylor Hines whom I have seen referenced as Peter Hines on her Mo Death Certificate as well as at least one Federal Census. That being the 1880 one for Sullivan Co.,Mo which is in the N Central part of the state. Just FYI I have also saw her first name listed as Arsuley, Arsulley, even Vurrusulia which is how it is on the Death Certificate for her. There is a tombstone for her in Big Creek Cem there in Texas Co.,Mo. By the side of her also according to the listings for Big Creek Cem is one Myram Lowry which MAY have been a sister to her.Neither of them list any dates of birth or death.

Surnames: Stubbs Hale Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/kNB.2ACI/1942.1.1 Message Board Post: Dear Ms Stubbs: It is so great to hear from you. It is a long story. I do not know if I am related to the Stubbs family. My name was Hale when I was born in 1953. My father died young and my name was changed. In the 1850 census of Greene County, Missouri (this part of the county later became Christian County, MO), one of your ancestors, Jesse Stubbs, was living next door to one of my ancestors, Reuben Hail/Hale. Reuben named one of his sons "Jesse Stubbs Hail". I have always wondered if Reuben was a relative of this original Jesse. Jesse later moved to Texas County and lived in Clinton Township. He had a huge family. That is why I am interested in your family. I am hoping that I can prove one way or the other if I am related to the Stubbs family. I hope that you can help me. Thanks brian in springfield missouri
