MO cemetery books, and in it are directions to each cemetery... This is what it reads for the Allen cemetery- Take highway 137 SOUTH to the first gravel road on the RIGHT. Cemetery is approximately one mile down this gravel raod located on the LEFT side. Sorry, I do not live in Missouri so can not be of assistance with driving instructions. I don't think they will scan but I will see....There is a lot of confusion in this area of research rest around the Fine family . I show stephen with 9 children with Mary. Daries Fine was married to Stephen's sister Sarah. They had three children. Often these three children arelisted as children Of Thomas Louis(Lewis) ...I will down load what I have and email it to you...I maynot be able to reduce the family Bible pages...If not I will transcribe the highlights. ..Forgive me if i have told told this story before. I am old and forgetful....The most surprising thing I have learned about the Thomas Louis Parker family is about the son William Columbus. I asked my mother who was 96 and her 92 yearold cousin about these Parkers in the Vienna Public Cemetery...They knew thewre was a relationship but no one knew how...I began corresponding with Lisa James whose ggg grand mother was Sary L! uceyan Parker. When Easter died she took and raised this child. Later on when Thomas remarried to a neighbor they moved on to Arkansas and left the child behind. I believe there is a good argument for easter dying late in 1861. I noticed Dozier Franklin named one of his daughter Easter Cantrell Parker and the child was born late in 1861. William Columbus' tombstone simply readys Columbus and has his DOB 1862...Sary Luceyan died of TB in 1870 and Thomas Ready continued to rear him..When Cornelious my gg grandfather was murdered Sary Luceyan also took his children in...When I think of the idea of rearing 5 of her brotherrs' children she must have had a heart as big as they sky.....I am just getting my data base up and running in a new system so you caught me at a good time. It will be Thursday before my scanner is hooked up..Jim

I am trying to find some information about my childhood minister, The Reverend D.R. Bledsoe. He was the minister of Rockwood Baptist Church in Independence, Missouri for many years. Recently another childhood friend asked me what became of him and I did an inquiry through another friend and found out that after he retired he moved to Cabool, Missouri where he lived when he passed away. Is there anyone on the list who has access to the resources to locate an obituary? Unfortunately I don't have much information except that he would have retired after 1971 and before 1985. I have not date of death for him or his wife and can't even remember her name except Mrs. Bledsoe. I would appreciate any help.
