    1. Missouri Death Certificates
    2. M Powell
    3. I received a Missouri Death Certificate today for 1934 that had not been entered yet so I could copy it. It has that this person was an inmate and died in the poor farm and that he was buried in the co. cemet. J. R. Womack signed it, he was of Houston, Texas Co., MO. Arther Elmore was the undertaker. My parents purchased a farm near Houston in 1948, their last name was House and we had a laugh out of the person's name who had owned it. It was called the old "Houser" place, dad purchased it from his daughters. I remember them talking about a poor farm that had been near them. Do you any of you know anything about a "poor farm" near Houston and if there were any records of people being buried there on the grounds. Or if there is a county cemetery somewhere near Houston, Texas Co., MO. Marguerette

    1. James Fielden family
    2. M Powell
    3. I received in the mail today the Oklahoma death certificate for Sarah Elizabeth Hooter. She was a widow, died July 3, 1919 in Lincoln Co., OK in city of Prague. She was Sarah Elizabeth "Lizzie" Fielden who married Charles J. Hooter. Sarah was born in Success, Texas Co., MO and was the daughter of James Fielden and his first wife. On Sarah's death certificate it has her mother as Palmira Jones. When Palmira and James were married in 1869 the marriage has Tinsley P Jones. In the 1870 census she is Josie P. (Jones) Fielden. She must have died about the time her second child, John Dee Fielden was born. James Fielden remarried to Sarah Ann Clementine Johnson in 1876. Death cerificate has that Palmira Jones was born in Texas Co., MO. Has anyone researched the Jones families there to know if there might be a family with a daughter by any of those names, Josie P., Tinsley P. or Palmira. There is a Willis G. Jones with a daughter named Joyce P Jones in 1850 census the right age to be Palmira. Does anyone know what happened to the Willis Jones family and to daughter, Joyce P. Jones? Marguerette
