    2. Jeremy R. Abbott
    3. I tried posting this on Ancestry's Texas Co board, but kept getting an error message....I am not a member of the MOTEXAS-L email list, so I might not get replies - please email me at abbottjr@cox.net I am looking for information on my great-grandfather, Jessie (or Jesse) James Abbott. According to the funeral home in Sullivan, Illinois, his birth location was written down as Texas Co., MO. I do not have any information about his birth, so ANY data would be great. I was wondering if anyone could do a search in the courthouse for me on Jessie and his parents, James M. Abbott and Martha Ann Kelley. Jessie James Abbott B. 16-September-1891 (Texas Co., MO) Possible brothers of Jessie also born in Texas Co., MO: Ivan Preston Abbott (B. 24-March-1893) Ethel Harmon Abbott (B. 20-November-1895) Please send me an email at abbottjr@cox.net. Thank you in advance!!!!

Also Emily A Carter DOB 1838 DOD 1888 and Nancy E Carter DOB 1862 DOD 1864. As far as a book goes, I think the Texas Co Historical Soc sells books with cemetery listings.
