Yes, I do have the parents of Henry Stogsdill, and much more, but I'm always glad to hear from new connections. We can share - correct errors, etc. No, I have not been in touch with Donna Luther, Melinda Rolette or Norma Lee Whitten. Henry & wife, Ara Gooch, are the parents of Anna Stogsdill, who was wife of my great Uncle, Jo Orval Ferguson. My files, which are on WorldConnect, are probably more complete than what you found previously. Looking forward to hearing from you, and adding you to the descendants.

    1. [MOTEXAS] Any of these names ring a bell to the natives of Licking, MO?
    2. I took my grandfather back to licking this summer, he grew up there and wanted to go back "home" for a few days. While I was there, I got to explore a little and found that Licking isnt really that big (I am from KC and the country was a new experience hehe) So I am hoping that someone who is familar with the towns people will recognize some of the following names of the people I found in my great great uncle, Oatley Blankenship's obituary: Oatley R. Blankenship (parents were Frank and Julia Blankenship) May Harlan (Oatley's wife) Bobby Blankenship (of Salem, MO, Oat's Son) Ethel Triplett (Of Salem, Oat's Daughter) Mrs. Ellen Hill (of Licking, Niece) Pallbearers were: Larry Blankenship James Blankenship Glen Blankenship Bobby Blankenship Ronnie Blankenship Stanley Triplett If you recognize these names or know of anyone who would know how to contact them or their family PLEASE LET ME KNOW. I greatly appreciate it! Thanks so much. 1. [MOTEXAS] Blankenship, Buckner, Harper Connections Anyone?
    2. Hey Guys, I am wondering if any of you in Licking are family with the Blankenship, Buckner and Harper families? I was going through my great grandmother's old box and found obituaries of my great great Uncles. They were Oatley R. Blankenship and Charles A. Buckner. I have gone back as far as I can in researching the Blankenship line directly so I am trying alternative routes - through their Children and Grandchildren! To make a long story short, I am reasearching Calvin and Deliah Blankenship. I decend from their youngest child, Henry, but the line I am focusing on is their daughter, Angeline, who married Logan D. Harper (Dont know who his parents were). They had four daughters one of which was Laura Ellen who married Edward Buckner, and these would be Charles parents. In Charles obituary, it mentions his wife as Nellie (Hobson). His brother Logan was still alive at the time of his death in 1973 living in Licking, his sister, Ethel Sullins of Springfield, Mo, and Ruth Miller of Olympia, IL. Since no children are mentioned, its probably safe to assume he didnt have any. Does any of these names sound familar? I would like to try to locate some distant cousins, as in all probability, those mentioned in the obituary probably have passed as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Misty
