His brother Henry Gilbert is listed as from Yukon too. He died in 1956 but I don't know where yet. Will look in the Success census to see if I can find either of them. On Everett's record , it does say the last doctor he say was in Licking. If he was a minister , may be traveled a lot. Any names you could come up with may help. Thank you for answering. Mary

My main interest isn't the Hart family, because my g-grandmother Cordelia was a step child in that family....I'm actually researching the Richards family, but Cordelia was a stumbling block there, mostly because we never knew her name wasn't Hart...but Cantrell....a fact no one ever knew until about a year ago. I'm kinda grasping at straws here. I have the Richards back to 1700's in Maryland and stops there....plus I don't have a name for Joshua Richards' wife...other than Priscilla...and I don't know where they came up with that....can't find any marriage records that match that one either :( Anyway...thank you again for the information....it's been a big help! I asked my mom if she knew Kirby and she did....but she didn't know just how they all tied in together. If you think any of them might know any of the information I'm needing...feel free to contact me about it. Brenda Adkins

Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/kNB.2ACI/1567.1 Message Board Post: Brenda--I found Lovic L. Hart listed in the Texas County Heritage book, Vol. I, p. 464. According to that article, here is some information I think you are looking for. Lovic was the youngest of 8 sons of Adam, b. ca. 1789 in NC, and Barbara (Lineberry) Hart. Adam & Barbara m. in Orange Co. NC 1811. Moved with 7 sons to TN in late 1820's, where Lovic was born ca. 1829. During 1840's, most moved to Crawford Co. MO. Two moved on to Perry Co., other 6 settled in Maries Co, where Adam joined them folling Barbara's death in Knox Co., TN. Adam was a cooper, is buried in Rock Springs Cemetery, Maries County, MO. Lovic married Hannah Moreland (1837-1862) daughter of Thomas Moreland. She also was buried in Rock Springs Cemetery. Their children were: infant son b. 28 Dec. 1853, d. 18 Jan 1854; Wilbert Jasper (1855-1898, married Susan Rice; James Emery (1857-1918) married Ida Bridges; Roenna Clementine (1859-1904) married Richard Fielden; and Richard Washington (1861-?) married Martha Myers. Lovic and 2 of his brothers, Joseph & Anderson, enlisted in the Union Army for 3 years. Later, he moved by wagon train to Texas Co, bought 360 acres of land in Upton Township, which the family still owns. Lovic's son Emery and Idaho Bridges were married 1885, and bought several hundred adjoining acres. They had 9 children: Lottie (1886-1961) married Asbery Wolfe; Bertha (1889-1913) married Charles Denney; Edna (Sept. 1891-Mar. 1892; Walter E. (1894-1977) married first Effie Dutton; Dora (1896-1918) married Berry Crow; William Curtis (b. 1900) married Grace Quick; Kirby E. (1903-1983) married Georgia Douglas; Ruby (1907-1985) married first Otto Gladden, second June Scot; Leona (b. 1913) married first Ira Roberts, second Harold McLaughlin. In Texas County, Lovic married second time to Julina V.__ (1838-1916). Their children were: Orrilda; Julina E; Dora; Rosa; Lovic R.V. and Solona. Both Lovic and Julina are buried in Liberty Cemetery. Kirby and Georgia were good friends with my parents, and as long as they were able, Kirby and my father hunted on the Hart Ranch. (It is off limits to the general public.) I hope this helps. If you want, I could refer you to descendants who still live in the area.

    3. Here is the obit for Roanay Hart. She married Richard Columbus Fielden who was the brother of my g grandfather, John Fielden who married Sallie Coats, d/o James and Elizabeth Hart Coats. We don't know if the two Hart families are related or not, have not found anything yet to show that. What are in ( )'s are my notes for myself. Oct 27, 1904 The angel of death visited the home of one of our friends and neighbors, R. C. Fielden (Richard Columbus Fielden, son of Dempsey and Sarah Turner Fielden), and took from them their beloved wife and mother. Roanay Hart was born Feb. 9th, 1859, in Maries county, Mo., and came to this county with her father about the end of the war. She lived with her father till 1884, when she was married to Mr. R. C. Fielden. Six children resulted from this union, three girls (Agnes, Ora Matilda and Edith Blanche) and three boys (Everett Leslie, Ralph Wilbert and Walter Ray). She leaves, besides the husband and children, an aged father and stepmother and two brothers, R. W. and J. E. Hart, two half sisters and a half brother, Rosa, Julia and R. V. Hart. During her sickness all that medical skill and loving hands could do was done but to no avail; the time had come for her to meet the Maker and she must go. It was at 5 o'clock on Friday morning, Sept. 23, that the death angel called and found her prepared to enter upon a journey from which no one has ever returned. She professed a faith in Christ at the age of 17 and joined the Free Will Baptist church and has lived a Christian life ever since. Mrs. Fielden was a good neighbor whose friends were numbered by her acquaintances and she will be sorely missed in the community in which she lived. But the greater loss is to the bereaved husband and children to whom we extend our entire sympathy. The remains were followed by a host of sorrowing relatives and friends to her last resting place in Liberty cemetery Sept. 24, funeral services being conducted by Rev. McGoodwin. My mother is one, that I loved so well, Oh, why did she leave me so soon? She has gone up yonder to a home in heaven, An will never come back anymore. It was hard to look thee in the face, dear mother, And bid you good-bye, But we know you have gone, dear mother, To the Savior up on high. We know that in the portals that are shining bright and fair, You will be the first to greet us When the Savior calls us there. My mother is gone that I loved so well, A voice we loved is stilled; A place is vacant in our home, That never can be filled. Long did thou linger, mother dear, In the greatest of anguish in vain, Waiting and watching for God To relieve you from all earthly pain. But at 5 o'clock there silently came The angel that had watched you so long, And bore you away to your heavenly home. Where the weary are forever at rest. Your face, dear mother, we will never forget, Though our days be numbered many, We bid you adieu, for we know that you are waiting In the beautiful valley of Heaven. Home without a mother, Life without her cheer, Could the soul be happy, if it had no mother there? N.H. 3. Roanay (different spellings are found) Hart, d/o of Lovic Hart married into my Fielden family. Here is the obit for Lovic which is in the Houston Herald newspaper. Dec 15, 1904 Again the Reaper who comes but once for each individual has made men shudder at his mighty power and claimed for the tomb Lovic Hart, aged 84 years and 7 months. Grandpa was taken sick on Nov. 12 with neuralgia of the heart and lived but one week, dying on the 19th. Death was very sudden, as he was sitting in his chair reading a paper, when suddenly he folded away his glasses and told his wife to call the boy who was chopping wood for him. Before she could get back from the porch or call their daughter he had passed into the Great Beyond. It seems a vendetta not of human vengeance shadows this family, as Mrs. Roaney Hart-Fielden, a daughter, preceeded him only two short months ago, and Mrs. Salona Hart-Haven, another eleven months ago. However this may be, we bow to Him who doeth all things for their good who love the Lord. For some time Grandpa had expressed his readiness and wish to go. An aged wife and 5 of the 11 children, a number of grand and great grand-children are left to mourn the loss of a kindly counselor. On Nov. 21 the sorrowing relatives and friends followed the remains to Liberty cemetery where interment took place. For all the blessings life has brought, For all its sorrowing hours have taught, For all we mourn, for all we keep, The hands we clasp, the loved that sleep, The noontide sunshine of the past, Those brief, bright moments fading fast, The stars that gild our darkening years, The twilight ray from holier spheres, We thank thee, Father! Let they grace Our narrowing circle still embrace, Thy mercy shed its heavenly store, Thy peace be with us evermore.
