Anyway, don't know if this would mean anything to you but... My great, great, great grandfather was Adam Tyrone. The story I know is that the family was named O'Neil in Tyrone, Ireland and changed their name to Tyrone once in America. My grandfather, Victor Tyrone, was raised in Mississippi. I have some relatives who showed me a book that another distant relative put together on the Tyrone family. I was told this woman lives in New Mexico. If any of this is of interest to you, e-mail me and I will try to get her name/e-mail address for you.

Thanks anyone for the help. > I have a marriage book from Texas County, MO, 1850-1876. I didn't find your great grandmother listed in the book. I, also, looked for ages for my great grandparents in Texas County. They were both born there, and their elder children were born there. I finally found out, quite by accident, that they were married in Blount Co., AR. I called the county clerk there, and lo and behold, found their marriage certificate. This might give you a clue to look in adjacent counties. I don't know why they went there to marry. They were both of age, and my grandmother was born about ten months later in Texas Co. Hope this helps, Myra
