    1. [MOTEXAS] William & Biddy Chambes - Marriage Info Needed
    2. Charlene
    3. Hi, I have been trying to find my ggg-grandparents William and Biddy Chambers for some time now and have been unsuccessful in identifing where they got married and what Biddy's last name is. William Richard CHAMBERS who was born abt 1820 in Virginia according to the 1850 census, however, the Laclede Co., MO history book says he was from TN. Biddy was born abt 1824 in Kentucky. She must have moved from KY to MO before 1842 when she was about 18 years old. The 1860 census reflects that Biddy was living with her next husband Mosses Bean in Laclede Co., MO. Biddy's name has also been documented as Bidy, Bida, and Median on the census. Biddy may be short for Bridget. About 1841 or 1842 William and Biddy married and had four children who were all born in MO. William & Biddy's children were: Sarah Jane (1843-1897) who married George Simpson, Payton Gifford (1843-1875) who married Minerva Smith, William Crumel "Bud" (1845-1914) who marred Margaret Core Elizabeth Elindar (1849-) who married a Mr. Henderson. If you have any tips on finding Biddy's last name or if you have any resources to check where or when they got married I'd really appreciate the help. William and Biddy could have married in TN, KY or MO. The 1850 Census reflects that William and Biddy were living in Texas Co., MO., however, I have been unable to identify where they were living in 1840. The 1850 census also reflects that two children by the last name of Whitehead were living in their home. 2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: CLARK, URICK, NICHWITZ, YOUNG Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/kNB.2ACI/1596 Message Board Post: Hi All, I am having a terrible time trying to find out who my great grandparents ancestors are!! SO I hope someone can help me out!! My great grandmother, Adeline Louise URICK was born in Ohio in 1846, I need to know where she was living in Missouri between 1860 and 1877. She married, sometime between 1870 and 1877, William Andrew CLARK, born 1849 in Ohio. I need to know when and where they married. According to their death certificates, both died the same day August 19, 1912 in Ozark Co., MO, Adeline had lived in Missouri for 50 years. In 1880 Adeline and William were living in Jackson Co., MO, married with 2 daughters. William appears on the 1870 Jackson Co., MO single and living with Hester Young, possibly his grandmother. In 1900 they were living in Morris Township, Texas Co., MO I am certain that both WIlliam Clark and Adeline Urick were orphaned at an early age. Neither were raised with their parents, Adeline on 1850 and 1860 census of Hamilton Co., Ohio with a Nichwitz/Nischwitz family and William 1856-1860 in Iowa with John and Easter Young family. ANY information would be most helpful!! Thanks!! Charlotte [email protected]
