I would love to have more information on the family. Was John of Italian or French descent? I have read that he was of French descent. The Bezona family is a new discovery for me. John married Maria Lown, and their daughter, Sarah married Darwin Smith. My father and grandfather were both named after Darwin Smith. I am from the Shaw line, as Clara Smith, daughter of Darwin and Sarah, married Walter Shaw. Please e-mail me directly if possible. Many thanks. Kathleen

Those are the names of John Henry Huffman and Rosella Adelia Housden. Martha Ellen Huffman was my gg grandmother. I do not know anything about the other children. Both parents were dead and they were very small and raised in other families. I would appreciate knowing more abut the others. Rosella Adelia Housden's parents were Elizabeth Crocker and John Housden. This family migrated from Henry Co., Tenn. John's parents were John and Elizabeth Turner. You can find them in Shennondoah Co., Va. His parents were Benjamin and Nancy Housden. They appear to be Germans. The spelling was originally Housdenshell. You will also see it as Housden and Houston. I need to make sure that John is correct - I get it mixed up with James Housden. Have you traced John Henry Huffman's family any further than his father and mother?? Hope this helps some. Please feel free to contact me at [email protected] if you wish to pursue this family. I have a very hard time finding messages on this board. Thanks Joyce Ford
