I am researching the FORSYTHE family in Texas Co. Charles (died 1897) and his wife Salinda Sarah (died 1901) both died in Cass Twp., Texas Co., MO. Both are buried in the Latimer Cemetery, Cass Twp. I was wondering if anyone had access to the Latimer Cemetery Records. Also, can anyone find Salinda Sarah Forsythe in the 1900 Federal Census for Cass Twp., Texas, MO (she may have been living with her son Richard V. Forsythe). Thank you, Think Positive and Enjoy the Day Terry James Hickman _________________________________________________________________ Send and receive Hotmail on your mobile device: http://mobile.msn.com

Altho this might not be genealogy related, I would like to tell people on the mailing list of two programs that MIGHT help with our genealogy research. With being subscribed to a number of mailing lists, my addy is on a number of computers, so my chances of receiving virus messages is increased. Just today alone, I received 3 virus messages, that MailWasher caught and deleted before getting to my pc. The first is http://www.mailwasher.net/...a program for checking email, while still on your server, letting you see if there are virus messages, and letting you set up a 'blacklisted' file. You can "bounce" the messages back to the server that sent the email, just like your email addy doesn't exist. The second website is http://www.mudcreek.ca/..a program for viewing gedcom files, called GenViewer. I have NO interest in either program, other than being a satisfied user. ciao, Ron

Smith. What I have so far is that he had 13 children. Some of the children were Lili, Ida Priscilla, Charles T., and Minnie. Ida was also a school teacher there. She was born on January 24, 1883 in Texas County, Missouri. She died in Kansas City Missouri. I really want more information on her parents and grandparents. Her father was James E. Smith, I lost her mother's name in a house fire and have not been able to reconstruct it. James was born in one of the southern states of a white man and a choctaw woman. I really need their names. He left that area and went to Missouri by way of Reel Foot Tennessee. His first wife is buried there and they have a daughter, although I don't have her name. He received notice of receiving Indian Lands in Oklahoma. At that time he lived in Houston Missouri. He packed his belongings and began to try to make the move. He got as far as the Licking and Success area a! nd the wagon broke down. He just stayed there. He bought an acreage called Jack Tar Hollow and there he stayed. What I have been told is that he donated part of that area for the Caveness Cemetery. I am not sure if that is fact or a rumor. He is buried there and so are many of his family. I am dying for more information on him so I can go on tracing my family tree. It has hit a dead end there. If any one can help, it would be greatly appreciated. The son named above was called C. T. He still has family there. Hope to hear soon, Thanks.

In the information I have recently been given to start this family research, I have a sister of Joe and Earl's named "Mollie" who married a Turney-is this your Grandma? There were 9 children all together of James and Adeline- I do not as of yet have a lot of information on James and Adeline and their children-would love to share/compare information if this is your family too.
