Re: the 1890 census which I was told was ruined by water damage when they were fighting the fire.. : ^ ( I am also told that some of the states have reconstructed THEIR specific census using voters' names..granted everyone probably didn't vote and since only men voted, that is whose names they would have on it...but at least we'd get head of household. I was just told this yesterday by a genealogist..and I hope to find a couple! Worth a try! Marti

Hi! I'd like to get some arrest records from 1899. It appears that the Texas Co. courthouse burned in the 1880s, which would be before the time period I need, but it looks like it burned again in the 1930s. Were all the records destroyed in 1930, or would I be able to get the arrest records from 1899? Thanks! Mary __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Hi, I am needing help. I am trying to collect pictures of churches where my father was pastor. I need to get a picture of the Raymondville Baptist Church before Thanksgiving in order to use it in a Christmas gift for him. Is there anyone here that would be willing to get a snap shot picture of the Raymondville Baptist Church and snail mail to me? I will gladly pay for your expenses. If so, please email me privately. Thank you for any consideration! Lanita Sconce Miller Wichita, KS

I recently got pension records for my gg-grandfather Washington M Stewart and one of two applications for minors listed a Jasper Columbus Stewart son of Wash M and Cynthia Greenlee. The application was submitted by Jasper, age 23 in March 1882 and presently living in Stanford, Texas Co MO. His witnesses were Margaret Greenlee, age 76, and Rocksy Ann Wormack?? age 50. I checked the 1850 Census for Stoddard Co. MO where “Wash” Stewart lived and found a Syntha Greenlee listed with her parents—Joseph and Margaret Greenlee and sisters, Roxianne and Mary in Pike Twp p 450. Jasper appeared in the 1870 Texas Co Census with Marg. Greenlee. Hope this offers you some clues Nancy Smith
