    3. Hey Guys, Ive been getting responses, so there are some of us out here ;) I wonder if there is a way to ask the moderator to change the form of messages that they are responded to the board, rather than the person who sent them, so we can share info with eachother, not just the person who sent it. I will forward the rest of the messages I received in case someone responded who can be of help or connect to someone else on the board :) ----- Original Message ----- From: [email protected] To: [email protected] Sent: Monday, January 13, 2003 5:05 PM Subject: Re: [MOTEXAS] Anyone out there No you aren't alone--I am searching for Scott and Sterner ancestors. William and Calvin Blankenship, both born in the 1820's in Tennessee, both married half-sisters about the late 1840's in old Pulaski County, later turned into Texas County, both boys and their families lived around Licking and Boone all their lives. Would these two be in the line of Blankenships you are researching? Thanks, Audrey

Jasper's mother was CYNTHIA GREENLEE STEWART. Cynthia died in October that same year. When WASH remaried in 1860, Jasper moved with his grandparents, JOSEPH and MARGARET GREENLEE to Texas County, MO. I was interested to see that your Nancy Richmond married Jasper Stewart in 1882. I had previously found a MO State Birth Record that has a Jasper Stewart married to a EMMA WOMMACK at the time Emma gave birth to Wm. C. Stewart, Dec 5 1888, Cass Twp, Texas Co, MO. The birth certificate said that Jasper's occupation was a teacher. I found Jasper death records on a Texas County Genealogical site with the same death info you provided and gave his occupation as a physician. Did John W. Richmond's daughter Nancy die before 1888 and did she and Jasper have any children? Did you know there was a Richmond in Stoddard County, MO who was a phy! sician?

Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/kNB.2ACI/1579.1 Message Board Post: The origin of the name as I was told all growing up was due to a big alteration being made in the German name when the ansestors traveled over and went through Ellis island. As I understand it, all us Doerzaphs are related not too far up the chain. I believe it was my great grandparents that came over. Anyhow, If you would like to contact me about Doerzaph I would LOVE to hear from you. Unfortunately, my father died this past year so I have lost a wealth of information but I am sure my mother remembers much of his background. Lara (Doerzaph) Thurman
