Some of his kids married in Taney Co. there again I'd have to check as to who exactly they were. But this Bear Creek I'm sure James also mentioned in his pension's. Also looking in Taney Co. for Ruth (Ruthie) Risley....possibly Angeline Cheek's mother. Remember...James Cheek is Steve Cheek's g-gpa. (Boone Co. Ark.) Anything abt James Cheek in Taney Co. would be GREATLY appreciated!! All I have of him living there is what he states in his pension's. I'd love, when we go back down to Taney, to go his old place there! If we can ever find it. I'd also like to go to Isabell's grave if we can ever find her too. I have several affidavits of folks who stated they were by her bedside when she died. Nothing is said as to where they buried her tho...what cemetery or if buried on the farm.
