The Jennings family were some of the earliest settlers in Taney County. They lived west of what later became Taneyville, near the mouth of Bull Creek; what is now the village of Rockaway Beach was some of Jesse Jennings' land. I hadn't heard about a still any of them had, but it wouldn't surprise me; many families did.
