    3. His name on the 1850 census was Speaks, but on other things I have seen it Speake. I think the James C Speaks was one of his sons. The James Speaks in Taney Co. in 1850 was 40 yrs at the time. I know all the records were burned up but I was hoping that maybe someone would know of some Speaks or Speake buried in the area of James township he was born about 1810 in NC.
