This is off the subject, but wondering about the West Nile Virus? We are going to be in Taney County around Oct 4th thru the 6th or 7th, am kinda concerned as we plan to check the cemeteries in and around southern Mo. Thanks for any response. Wanda

I don't think you will find it exclusive to this area anymore. Common sense will prevail to repel mosquitoes just like you would at home. Be sure to keep some repellant in your vehicle & spray as you get out of the vehicle. Additionally you might give it a go of an extra layer around your pant legs for other creepy crawlers like those stinking ticks I find once in awhile. Good hunting~~ Joy who lives in SW MO.
