Hello Group, I have been a lurker on this list for a while. My wife has ancestors that lived in near Mincy around the turn of the century and up until about 1920. We recently went to the Mincy area and visited the Cemetery there and found her great grandmothers grave. She was Grace Jane Caudle who married Andrew Mannon. Anyway we visited the courthouse in Forsythe and the library there and found people to be very helpful and friendly. Now I have a request. Does anyone have any information on the Mincy school? We were able to visit the school but of course it was locked and we could see through the windows and it looked as if almost a history of the schoolteachers was lettered on the chalkboard. We could not see real well, but my wife's grandfather would have attended school there and we would like to know more. Has anyone written a history of that school or the Mincy area? Does anyone know who would be the caretaker of the school. We go to Branson occasionally and could arrange a trip to visit with them if so. I thank you in advance for any help you can give.
