HI Petty researchers, Don't know if this Petty Family has any connection to yours , but I have a William Petty and wife Melinda - they got a Land patent in 1833- In St Charles Co Mo--where they built a home and lived there until 1839/40. They sold it to a family named WATSON " this house is still there"-- It at that time was a One room log home-- has been built on to. This home stand near the Femme Osage Valley and is only about 2 miles from Nathan Boone's Home-This Today is called Daniel Boone Home-- it is where Daniel Boone Died- You will see it on MO Map.
