Hi Folks - thought I'd drop a line and let you know I have quite a bit of genealogy on the Stiffler family if anyone needs help. My g-g-grand-parents were George Washington and Georgia Ann (Tye) Stiffler, children of John Bardell and Martha Ann (Brumbelow) Stiffler, and Job and Nancy (McCarty) Tye. My g-grandmother, Sarah Lucinda "Sada" Stiffler married William Clayborn Carsten, son of Frederick William & Neoma (Manus) Carsten. We know for sure George Washington and "Georgeann" Stiffler are buried in the Casey Cemetery outsife Forsyth, I had the fortune to visit there briefly in the summer of 1996. You have a very beautiful county, it was a pleasure to visit and I can certainly see why my ancestors stopped off "for a spell" instead of migrating on into Oklahoma during the time of forced removal of the Cherokee Indians. ~gina thomas patterson~ http://hometown.aol.com/ginaburningsky/myhomepage/business.html NOVEMBER IS NATIVE AMERICAN INDIAN HERITAGE MONTH
