Hi Dolores, Since you & several others have mentioned the PARTON surname in your messages, does your data, or that of anyone else researching the name PARTON or PARTIN, include anything on the earlier generations of the PARTON family such as parents, grandparents, etc. of Mary's 2nd husband Calvin PARTON, or any other PARTON/PARTIN family who came to MO quite early?? I have PARTON/PARTIN lines that were in Howard and/or Chariton Counties of MO but have not been aware of them being connected to Taney County although we are seeing all kinds of data connecting families between these 2 areas in MO (referring specifically to recent postings about the CUPP families that moved back & forth between Chariton & Taney Counties).
