Here's what we have so far: 1. John M. Stone b 1815 VA 2. Henry Edward Stone (AKA-William Henry) b Jan 1840 Logan Co VA (now WV) m. 1860 Henry Co, MO 3. His children were born in Missouri - mostly Cooper Co John Morgan Stone is our brick wall. We know so little about him and are having doubts as to whether Morgan is truly his middle name. However, ALL of the older generations claim the Morgan as correct. :-) When we moved to Springfield in 1962, there was a Stone running for a county office. His picture on billboards reminded me of some of my husband's uncles but we've been unable to make any connections here. I'd be interested in your names. I guess I need to check the censuses in this part of the state after all. Sara
