    1. [MOTANEY] Re: Roll Call
    2. My family came to Taney Co in about 1872 from Falls River, Wilson Co, Kansas. They were Calvin Parton B. 1825 - 1826, Knox Co, Kentucky Died December 1878 and His wife Jane Brittain Bly Parton (previously married to James Henry Bly in Mercer Co, Missouri). Jane's Parents were George and Memory Larrimore Brittain. Her first Husband James Henry Bly died Jan 11, 1864 from disease contracted in battle (pneumonia), he had been sent home on furlow to recooperate from his illness when he died. Calvin's parents are unknown. It is thought that he belongs to the clan of Partons who lived in Knox County around him although no true connections have been made or proven. Thier children were: John Eli Bly Born 5/6/1858 Died abt 1924 George Walter Bly Born 5/6/1854 Died 4/24/1929 Mary Elizabeth Bly Born 9/19/1860 Died 5/12/1912 Sarah Bly Born august 1862 Died 1945 Charlie Henry Parton Born 10/2/1878 Died 5/4/1953 This is my line. Joseph Marion Parton Born 6/2/1866 Died 7/16/1938 Frances Monroe Parton Born 8/21/1873 Died 12/23/1944 James Wesley Parton Born March 1870 Died unknown Other related and non related lines I am researching are: Brittain, Bly, Hopper, Laws, Green, DeShields, Hearn, Farris, Austin, Womack, and many others in the following locations: Taney Co, Missouri Boone Co, Arkansas Washington Co, Arkansas Washington Co, Ohio Lucas Co, Iowa and in the Maryland and Delaware areas. I have also created a website of source documents that I have obtained on these families including obituaries, census, school records and other documents. The website is a free site and as I obtain pictures of cemetaries and different items I post them so all have access. Many researchers other than myself has graciously allowed me to post thier research as well. www.freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~jmwtlw Tonya Williams jmwtlw@aol.com
