    3. Where are your Stone's from originally? I am trying to locate info on my Stone line from NC. My grandmother (maiden name Stone) told me some of her family went to MO but so far I have not found anymore info other than that. John Burless Stone and brother ? from Blackpool, England married Cynthia/Cindy Wood/s children Edward Whitfield Stone b. abt. 1823 James Leroy Stone William Stone Elizabeth Rebecca Stone Nancy Stone Edward WHitfield Stone married Cynthia/Sintha not sure of last name children James Henry Stone 11/11/1848 Frances E. Stone James Henry Stone married Martha Rue Emma or Martha Emma Rue Dryman children Ida Thomas James Leroy Mary Lena Emeline Furman Wesley Junie born June 1905...my grandmother They were from Va to Ky to SC to NC James and his father were potters. Understand that John was a learned man and a teacher. This is all info passed to me from my grandmother... Thanx Linda in Texas also looking for Wood/Woods, Freeman, Ball families in MO especially in Taney/Howell/Douglas and Ozark area...county lines changed but not them moving.
