Have any of you Brown researchers come across a Holloway Brown, born 1797 in NC or TN? He married Mary Polly who was born in Tenn. Their daughter Mary E. (Polly Elvira), b. in TN. about 1847, was my GGrandmother. She married William Ragsdale in Lawrence Co., AR. Hollaway being an uncommon name, should be easy to spot but I haven't found him in any records. I suspect his mother was a Hollaway and I found lots of Hollaway's in the Monmouth Springs, AR area.
