    3. Bill, I did a quick check of the 1850 census index (using the soundex). There is no John Mosely there. The 1860 census has only a partial index and Missouri isn't included. The only way to researh 1860 would be to go thru Taney County page by page (a considerable undertaking). Sorry that I couldn't be of more help.
