Hi Listers, Am Looking for information on a J.W. Wheeler age 35 b. Tenn. He and his family are listed in the 1850 Taney County Census, Swan Township. The J.W. is John Wesley and he is My husbands GG Grandfather. This family is in Howell County in 1860, but two of his sons were listed as Taney county Soldiers either killed or died of illness during the Civil War. There are 12 children in this family. Farmer, William, Nancy, Robert, James, Jonathan, Richard, and others born after 1850 that I don't have in front of me right now. I would like to hear from anyone who has Wheeler ancestors in Taney, Howell or Douglas Counties.
