Surnames: Frazier, Fearn Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/jNB.2ACI/738 Message Board Post: I'm hoping to find information about the Henry Frazier family of Iowa who settled in the Pollock area of Jackson Township sometime between 8/24/1866 and 8/24/1884. Henry was born in Kentucky in 1837. His wife Priscilla (maiden name unknown) was born in Kentucky in 1840. Their children were: Robay (b. abt. 1861); Nancy (b. abt. 1864); Margaret Lydia (b. in Iowa before 8/24/1866); Cora (b. 3/1868); Oscar (b. 11/1872); Lawson (b. 8/1876). I'm also seeking ANY information on William Brooks Fearn (b. 1860, d. 1922) who married Margaret Frazier on 8/24/1884 in Henry Frazier's house. Their son, Adrian was born 8/12/2891
I have also been searching for Fraziers in Iowa from Kentucky. I have a Henry Frazier in my data, but the dates are not quite on. You may want to check out the following sites. Although I have been searching the SEE surname, We have several SEE/FRAZIER marriages in our line. You will find many Frazier's in Van Buren County Iowa, and Missouri, that come from the Henry Frazier line. On the SEE Research site, I have collected data on related surnames in the SEE family, and you may want to sift through some of the documents on this site. They are large so I suggest you use the find feature of the browser, to find the Key words like Frazier, to make the searching much faster. http://familytreemaker.genealogy.com/users/s/e/e/Sylvia-See-AB/index.html?We lcome=1013674008 http://www.genealogy.com/users/s/e/e/Sylvia-Louise-See/ On the links you will find reports, and they open the reports on the data I had at the time of posting. I have alot of data that I have uploaded in documents that are not in my genealogy records yet. Also watch for Frazier links on the Research page and you will find others researching the Frazier line. I believe that the Pollock area is very close or perhaps in the same area, that our Frazier's are found, so you may want to check out some of the data on both of these sites. I suggest you open any of the cemetery, etc data from Missouri and Iowa that I have on the sites. There are Frazier's listed there that I don't know anything about. Your data may be on those documents. They are shown under the photos section. So data is found in the files section as well as the photo section. Margaret A. Frazier married George Washington See, which is my husbands, great-grandparents.
