Searching LDS archives I have found the Mary Ann Taylor (GGGrandpa's mother) to be the daughter of a John Taylor. I haven't verified the rape ordeal. It is a difficult line to trace. Hopefully I can get some solid information regarding GGGrandpa and his parents, etc. before long. If you have any further information I would love to have it. Thank you for your posting.
