Ben's father was probably a See who died in Civil War. America's parents were John Craig and Hannah See. I have the See line traced but have hit a brick wall on John Craig. All I know is that he was born in Ohio and him and Hannah See married in Elkhart IN before moving to Piatt co IL. America was my grandmother's grandmother whose name was America Haggy. America Craig married Elijah Hollenbeck in Story co IA and they raised Ben. the family moved to Sullivan/Adair co MO and then abt 1900 to Cleveland co OK. Jennings on the 1860 census in IL and his middle name was Jackson not Jonathan as some thought. Nancy's name was also Prince. Her mother Amy Unknown Prince married John Watson in IN and they moved with Nancy and Wm. Jennings to IL.
